Clockwork Lootbox
Overview
Clockwork Lootboxes are a unique feature in the game, offering players the chance to obtain valuable in-game assets. Initially known as "treasure boxes," these lootboxes are the first purchasable NFTs in the game and can be acquired and opened through the OpenSea marketplace.
With a mix of practical resources and collectible items, these lootboxes are a valuable part of the game’s economy and community. Whether users are aiming to build the most formidable ship or collect rare and stylish items, lootboxes provide the excitement and rewards that keep players engaged.
Items
Clockwork Lootboxes are virtual containers that hold a variety of in-game items. Each lootbox contains five assets, randomly selected from the following possible items:
Item | Description |
---|---|
Blueprints |
Blueprints are essential for creating ships in the game. To build a ship, players need one blueprint, along with lumber, ore, and ETH. Ships created using blueprints are limited in supply, making them valuable assets. |
Goldprints |
Goldprints are rare and highly coveted. Unlike blueprints, goldprints can be directly converted into ships without the need for additional resources. These special items are considered the most prized possessions in the game and are highly sought after in the shipyard. |
Cannons |
Cannons are customizable cosmetic elements for ships and are crucial for a Captain’s arsenal. They enhance the visual and functional appeal of a ship. |
Hats |
Hats are collectible items that come in various styles, including faction-affiliated helms and fantasy-inspired classics. They allow players to personalize their avatars and showcase their affiliations and achievements. |
Eyepieces |
Eyepieces are collectible items that serve as status symbols, representing fame and fortune for pirates. They also provide unique visual effects, such as rose-colored goggles. |
Lumber and Ore Bundles |
These bundles grant players large quantities of lumber and ore, which are critical resources for shipbuilding and repairs. These resources come in various tiers. |
