As a young lad, Balthazar was a prominent master thief. He would steal everything he could put his hands on. He used his riches to don himself with the finest clothing a person can buy...until one day - he was caught steeling from a Captain. The penalty - they chopped off his left hand.
Embarrassed, angry, and lost for being caught red-handed, Balthazar vowed to get his revenge. Although, not in the ways most people would...he wanted to bring the same excitement and thrills he felt during his thieving days to others. So, he decided to recruit a crew and become the Cirque Du Soleil of pirate crews!
He ensured that his crew was taken care of, donning amazing clothing and jewels, dreaming big and wanting to bring about a floating carnival to entertain the masses.
Thus, The Iron Corsairs were born!
