Overview

Doubloons are the in-game seasonal rewards points. They are crucial for participating in the airdrop campaign and for qualifying for rewards such as mblast and ultra-rare land parcels.

Earning Doubloons

Here are some of the ways to earn Doubloons:

Ways to Earn	Description
Gaining loot	Find in game primarily from sunken ships
Guild share	Gain a share of your guild's bonus proportional to number of ships owned.
Port missions	Send your ships and skellies on 24 hour missions for a chance to collect doubloons

Value of doubloons

Doubloons are sometimes used to complete daily and weekly quests for mblast and land shards. Additionally, doubloons at the end of the season will convert to 50% of the total land shards that exist.

Earning Doubloons

Here are some of the ways to earn Doubloons:

Ways to Earn	Description
Completing Quests	Participate in any Captain & Company quest on partnered quest platforms.
Referrals	Refer friends to join your crew.
In-Game Performance	Dominate foes inside the game and extract nuggies.

Doubloons Multiplier

You can increase your Doubloon earnings significantly by meeting the following criteria:

Multiplier	Description
Holding Captain & Company NFTs	The rarity of the NFTs you hold impacts your Doubloon multiplier, with rarer NFTs yielding higher results.
Holding Nuggies	Keep nuggies in your Captain & Company account by depositing $KAP or winning sea battles. The more nuggies you hold without withdrawing, the higher your multiplier.
Active Gameplay	Actively play the game and avoid withdrawing your nuggies for extended periods.

Important Considerations

Refresh and Computation: doubloon counts refresh every 15 minutes while multipliers are recomputed daily.
Withdrawing Nuggies: if you withdraw nuggies too soon, your Doubloon multiplier will be reduced proportional to the amount withdrawn.
Reward Distribution: rewards will be distributed at the end of the season, including:
