Nuggies are the in-game currency of Captain and Company. They are pegged such that 10,000 nuggies is equal to one dollar.

Here are the following ways nuggies can be earned:

They may be bought with cash at kap.gg/profile under the currencies tab
They may be gained through staking
They can be earned through renting ships to other players at kap.gg/marketplace
Possibly again in the future, other players will drop nuggies when they sink

Here are the following ways nuggies can be spent:

Rerolling ship perks in Port missions
Buying a pirate pass to allow non-shipholders to earn unlimited in-game rewards for 30 days
Renting ships from other players
In the future, they will be used to craft items and to trade with other players

Nuggies can be converted to $KAP tokens at a rate of 10,000 nuggies to a dollar (of $KAP) with a 7.5% withdrawal fee. Referrers get 5% of withdrawn nuggies as a reward. A withdrawing player must give their identity for KYC (know your customer) purposes and must not reside in the US or in any nation on the OFAC Sanctioned Nations List.
