War Chest

The war chest contains all the treasure that successful pirates will earn at the end of each war. It can be seen in the escape menu.

The total value of the war chest is seen in the top left. The war chest grows from the following sources:

• Nuggies and marques spent on crafting ships, cannons, cosmetics, and runes.
• Additional funds from the sponsors shown at the bottom of the war chest screen.

The war chest and additional rewards shown in the lower-right are distributed to pirates at the end of the war as follows:

• 75% to pirates for sinking ships and capturing towers in pillage mode.
• 15% to pirates who hold $CNC tokens.
• 5% to pirates who send their ship cards and skellies on port missions.
• 5% to pirates who own and maintain land.

$CNC holders can place bets in the war chest screen. If a holder bets on their own faction and their faction wins, their rewards for holding $CNC are multiplied by 1.5x. If instead their faction loses, their rewards are 0.75x. A holder may choose to abstain and not bet on their faction, which will yield a 1x reward.

Pirates can see the status of the war by looking at the war status in the lower-left. The number of towers under each faction's control is shown. Capture towers for your faction, earn doubloons, and lead them to victory! Pirates on the winning side get a 20% bonus to their doubloons earned from the war.
